Wolverine, a fictional comicbook character first appeared in comics in The Incredible Hulk in 1974! Since that time Wolverine has become one of hte most popular Marvel Comic book characters. Apperaring in many different comicbooks, starring in the three X-men movies and recently having the title role in the Movie "X-Men Origins: Wolverine."

Wolverine is a mutant who possesses keen animal-like senses, retracting bone claws, ability to heal quickly and enhanced physical capabilities. Wolverine is actually experimented on by the Canadian Government attaching near indestructible metal alloy adamantium to his skeleton and claws. He is not killed because of his ability to heal quickly! Most people will recognize Wolverine as the X-men character with the claws.
